Banter & Co., located at 66 Baldwin St in Brooklin

Banter & Company Brewing opened in April 2022. It was born from the vision of lifelong friends and craft beer enthusiasts. Their selection encompasses ales, porters, stouts, bitters, and beer cocktails, reflecting their passion and dedication to the craft. Banter & Co also offers fun pub night activities. Little Beasts Brewing Company, located at 2075 Forbes St Unit 4, Whitby.

Established in 2017, Little Beasts Brewing Company is renowned for its Belgian-inspired brews, stouts, and lagers. The brewery is also recognized for its distinctive and whimsical label designs. Beyond their beers, Little Beasts emphasizes creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors. 

Town Brewery, Tap House is located at 1632 Charles Street, Whitby.

Town Brewery, which opened its doors in 2017, is on a mission to craft quality beer while fostering community ties. The brewery exudes a modern yet welcoming ambiance, located near the Waterfront Trail and a short walk from Whitby's GO Station. Its taproom features a variety of beers on tap crafted using hops sourced globally, offering patrons a diverse tasting experience. Activities include trivia nights, run clubs and live music.

Town Brewery also runs a waterfront beer garden by the lake at 269 Water St, Whitby, during the summer.  You and your friends can enjoy the sun-quenched outdoor venue steps away from Lake Ontario. Their menu includes draught beers as well as a nice variety of wine, canned cocktails and non alcoholic options are also available. If you get hungry, they have a food truck on site serving a mix of wood-fired pizza, sandwiches and apps.

Brock Street Brewing, located at 244 Brock St S, Whitby.

Established in 2015, Brock Street Brewing Company is in historic downtown Whitby. They pride themselves on producing small-batch, all-natural, premium craft beers. Their diverse lineup includes award-winning selections like their Blonde brew. Visitors can enjoy drinks in the top-floor cocktail lounge and rooftop patio or join their euchre leagues and participate in trivia nights. Additionally, the brewery offers tours that provide an insightful look into its brewing process.

5 Paddles Brewing, located at 1390 Hopkins St, Whitby.

Established in 2013, 5 Paddles Brewing Company has been a pioneer in Durham's craft beer movement. With over 160 recipes, it offers classic styles and innovative experiments. The brewery offers a relaxed atmosphere, featuring communal tables reminiscent of a cozy rec room. 

A few doors down from 5 Paddles is the Great Canadian Meat Company, where you can treat yourself to one of their fantastic deli sandwiches. My favourite is the hot corned beef on rye. 

Each brewery contributes uniquely to Whitby's dynamic craft beer landscape, offering residents and visitors a wide range of flavors and experiences to explore.
