Hi Friends, if you are looking for some fun and sexy things to do for date night around the Durham Region, check out some of these passionate places to get the romance rolling. 

Take a stroll through the beautiful Whitby Harbourfront or along the Trails through Kiwanis Heydenshore Park and enjoy the scenic views along the waterfront, or take a moment to skip some stones in the surf.

Enjoy a romantic dinner for two at one of Whitby's many fine dining restaurants, reserve a cozy table for two in a refurbished bank safe at The Vault Gastropub, or enjoy some creative cocktails and tasty SoCal cuisine at Surf Kitchen And Bar.

Call an Uber and check out one of the many great microbreweries in the area. Some of my favorites are Banter & Co. in Brooklin, Brock Street Brewery in downtown Whitby, and Town Brewery in Port Whitby.

Visit the Lynde Shores Conservation Area for a serene walk through nature trails, and birdwatching. You may even spot some wildlife like deer, wild turkeys, chipmunks and trash pandas.

A pottery or art class is a unique and creative way to spend a date night together. One of my favourite places is the Whitby Station Gallery. If creating art isn't your thing, pop by on a Thursday evening in the summer and enjoy live music while you explore the exhibits and installations.

Catch a movie at the Whitby Entertainment Centrum or check out the lineup of amazing events at St. Francis Centre in Ajax. It’s a local entertainment destination for concerts, variety shows, movie screenings, family programming, and more.
